Product Description
Keneic Heart Rate Monitor and Strap

This is a simple, inexpensive, no-nonsense Heart Rate Monitor watch and strap. The strap is compatible with gym equipment and has replaceable batteries.
 
To be honest the watch is a bit clunky, and the display is a bit small, but it tells the time and has a built in stop watch. There are no HR alarms, but it does show you the average and maximum heart rates in a session
 
If you are looking for a basic HRM that you can take to the gym, or you have lost a more expensive analogue strap - this will do the job fine. Ive managed to get this to work with a more expensive Polar Heart rate monitor watch fine
 
You might also find a similar one to this (with alarms) in your local Lloyds Chemist on offer.
 

 

EVA Foam Roller


This is a simple, no-nonsense foam roller at a great price. 15cm x 45cm.

Its a good size without being too large. Its nice and firm too.

These are great for helping restore muscle function after events and loosening up tight soft tissues.

 

Notes:

Allways roll towards the heart with these.

Dont roll over or below any varicose veins.

Dont roll directly behind the knee.

SIgma PC3 Heart Rate Monitor and Strap


Another no-nonsense heartrate monitor and strap which is easy to use.

Different colours available too.

A client of mine bought one of these has has been pleased with it.

Pedal Stroke Analysis, Power and Efficiency Measurement & Exercise Programme


We spend an hour with your own bike on a Computrainer looking at your sustainable power output, pedalling cadence efficency, pedal stroke and the way your body is recruiting the muscles, deadspots and balance. Then you leave with a 5 week exercise programme to do on your own (ideally 3 times per week). 6 weeks later we meet up for a review (on the computrainer again) and re-assess to see how much you have improved.

Lactate Threshold Testing

We spend 1 hour with you doing a progressive intensity test on a gym bike (or your own on a Computrainer), treadmill or rower, and measure exactly when your lactate threshold and turn points are. You can then use as part of you own exercise programme, to plan your level of intensity for an event or use the result to measure your progress. All written up in a report and a review session afterwards. (You can also do this test on a treadmill if you wish)
